Marion Armstrong, Cultivating Settle's Chairperson, has been successful in gaining grant funding from Community Grassroots for a major composting activity. This will pay for us to purchase composting equipment, shredders, incinerators and to clear an area of the Cammock Lane allotments by the polytunnel, to site compost bins. Work is due to start later this month.
